Entertainment Weekly’s PopFest
Los Angeles, CA
October 29-30, 2016
Entertainment Weekly’s PopFest was a two-day festival showcasing the biggest names and most exciting acts in entertainment. I was awarded the opportunity to install two new pieces from my Quadratic series of assemblies to welcome visitors at the event. The festival took place at The Reef in downtown LA.
The Quadratic series aims to capture and represent the action of dynamic, fluidic movement. Unlike a photograph where the viewer is commonly presented with a single moment captured from a larger sequence, physically representing a larger and longer expression of movement in space and time, as seen here, is a concept seen throughout my work.
